Success! After nearly 3 full days of exciting activity, the 2013 Startup Weekend Madison event is now all wrapped up. Nearly 100 participants worked on 12 different projects over the weekend. All teams did a phenomenal job and made great progress in bringing their ideas to life. Thanks to everyone who came out for the event!
Teams presented their projects Sunday evening, and after much deliberation our judges were able to come up with the top teams and prize winners, which are:
1st (Tie): Social Networking for Good – A social network that leverages a beliefs quiz to create a community of people who want to affect positive social change and provides an actionable path to do so.

2nd: MyMeterMaid – Feeding the meter? Lose the quarters, pay by phone. MyMeterMaid lets you pay for parking meters with a text message, phone call, or a web app. Never worry about finding change again. (website)
Honorable Mention: BrewLife – BrewLife is an application that offers several different resources for the home brew community. (website)
